When Oscar Fredell now steps into the role as President and CEO of Beijer Alma, he describes with clarity what drives the group.
“Beijer Alma gives entrepreneurial technology companies the strength to grow and endure across generations. This is our purpose as an owner and the foundation for how we build our group,” he says.

Beijer Alma has a long tradition of companies with strong identities and leadership close to their customers.
“Value is created in the companies. Our leaders understand their markets and their customers better than anyone else. That closeness is one of our greatest strengths and something we will continue to protect. My role is to ensure that our companies have the right conditions to keep growing.”

He describes the group’s direction going forward as a refinement of a model that already works well.
“We will continue to grow by acquiring well managed niche companies with clear long-term potential. At the same time, I want to sharpen our focus on capital efficiency and sustained earnings growth. Every investment should contribute to long-term value creation.”

Oscar’s leadership philosophy is deeply rooted in decentralization and trust.
