Recipients of the Anders Wall Foundation scholarship 2019

The Anders Wall Foundation scholarships are awarded to committed employees who have contributed to improvements within the Group. This year’s recipients of the scholarships are Radoslaw Lewandowski, Research and Development Manager at Habia Cable, and Marcus Persson, Technical Sales Representative at Beijer Industri.

This is the fourth time that the Anders Wall Foundation scholarships have been awarded. The scholarships are awarded to one or more employees who have shown initiative and commitment and who have contributed to improvements and possibilities for the Beijer Alma Group.
The scholarship is worth SEK 50,000, a sum that is to be used for continued skills development. This year, two individuals with great potential for continued development in the Group were awarded scholarships. They receive SEK 25,000 each.

For the development of innovative solutions

Radoslaw Lewandowski is employed as a Research and Development Manager at Habia Cable’s factory for cable harnesses in Poland. The jury’s citation:
“Radoslaw Lewandowski has combined theoretical and practical knowledge with a fundamental understanding of application to develop innovative new solutions and methods for splicing and connection of Habia Cable’s unique high-temperature and medium-voltage cables.
Radoslaw is passionate about what he does and shows considerable talent in managing complex research and development projects together with clients. Radoslaw’s work is an important component of the technology behind the high-temperature and medium-voltage range. Habia Cable is now able to offer the market a complete system including components and tools as well as training of its clients’ employees.”

Committed and focused sales representative

The other scholarship recipient is Marcus Persson, who is employed as a technical sales representative at Beijer Industri. The jury’s citation:
“Marcus Persson started working for us in 2017 and has, despite his young age, committed to the role as a sales representative of heat-resistant material and other consumables within the foundry consumables business segment in an exemplary manner.
Marcus has shown fantastic commitment to his work assignments, and he embraces Beijer’s values by working independently, responsibly and in a focused manner. He is very well-liked among his colleagues, customers and suppliers, and he finds it easy to learn about new products and convey their benefits to customers.”
